CONSTRUCTION OF EKO SUPPORT JETTY AT LAGOS APAPA

The new jetty construction will reshape the South East end of Apapa wharf, Cotonou with reclamation of 17,000sqm. The additional 17,000m² will be concrete paved for use as storage area.The new structure will provide a berth for 12m draft and will support quay loads of 50kPa and 20kPa behind.The new quay wall will be 400m long compared to the existing 187m.The quay will be equipped with 8 dolphins, each with a 100T bollard, a twin panel fender and a safety ladder.Minor bollards and fenders are placed along the jetty waterfront with spacing equal to 20m. The existing three finger jetties will be relocated to the South West of the new storage area.
